Every iconic bridal look begins with a story. Ours was born from a promise to protect wedding dreams and a passion for accessible luxury. The Turning Point
In October 2023, our founder, Beth, found herself in the middle of every bride’s worst nightmare. After waiting over a year for her own wedding gown and receiving no communication, she opened her phone to find the news every bride fears: her bridal store had closed its doors overnight.
Watching the heartbreak of hundreds of brides losing their dresses and their deposits, Beth made a vow. She decided that no bride in her hometown should ever have to go through that uncertainty again. She didn't just want to open a shop; she wanted to create a safe, transparent, and joyful sanctuary for brides to find "The One."
A Mission for Cwmbran
Beth returned to her roots in Cwmbran, South Wales, with a clear mission: to prove that a luxury bridal experience doesn't have to come with a staggering price tag. She set out to bridge the gap between high-end designer style and true affordability.
By sourcing genuine designer gowns and offering them "off-the-peg," she made it possible for brides to walk away with their dream dress the very same day—eliminating the long waits and the "what if" anxiety.
Award-Winning Excellence
The heart Beth poured into the business was quickly recognized. Under our original name, Once Upon a Budget, we were incredibly honored to be nominated for Best in Bridal in both 2024 and 2025, taking home the Highly Commended award in November 2025.
These accolades were a testament to the trust our brides placed in us and the standard of service we strive to provide every single day.
The Evolution: Isobella Mair Bridal
As the business grew, so did the vision. In December 2025, Beth felt it was time for the boutique to reflect the true elegance and "breath of luxury" our brides experience when they walk through our doors.
Isobella Mair Bridal was born—a rebrand that elevates the experience while keeping our core promise. Today, we continue to offer stunning designer gowns at up to 90% off RRP, with no dress priced over £899.
Our Collection & Perks
We believe the "total look" should be accessible to everyone. While we house an elite range of gowns, we still proudly feature the Once Upon a Budget Collection—with incredible finds starting from just £50.
To celebrate our brides, we offer exclusive perks including FREE accessories and shoes when you pay for your gown in full. It’s our way of saying thank you for letting us be a part of your story.
